Summer 2022 Projects
1. Vermillion Falls Trail - Trail hardening: the wood bridge and west towards the Vermillion Falls Picnic site.
2. Vermillion Falls Trail - Adding 4' x 16' overlooks to each side of the bridge and picnic area.
3. Near Myrtle Lake on the Arrowhead - New shelter, gates, picnic tables, fire ring, kiosk and port a john. This project is being funded by the DNR, US Forest Service, IRRRB, and Northern St. Louis Co Trails Task Force.
4. Buyck to Shuster Road - From the VRT to Shuster Road 4.4 miles of the snowmobile link will be enhanced for ATV's including new bridges, gates, gravel and culverts.
5. Winchester Lake - Another destination in the Cook area. Enhancing the trail leading to Winchester Lake plus adding a scenic picnic site, a port a john, gates, and a graveled parking area.
6. North to Kabetogama - Working with the DNR to get permits and develop/enhance the Arrowhead trail to Kabetogama.
